Store Opening Strategy

The Group currently has stores in all of Japan’s 47 prefectures. With a basic development policy of opening one store per 100,000 people, in addition to opening stores in the high-potential Tokyo metropolitan area and the previously underserved Kansai area, we will also strengthen efforts to open stores in regional cities where we have no presence. Since the number of stores in our home prefecture of Niigata exceeds the level set by our basic store opening strategy, HARD OFF Group stores can be found anywhere in the prefecture. We call it the Niigata Model, and we have set an initial goal to expand it by opening 2,000 stores nationwide.
